Interamericana Transport Industries, Inc. signs software and services deal valued at USD 1 m with IBS for all operations in the U.S., Caribbean, Central and South America.

Interamericana Transport Industries, Inc. (ITI), a leading automobile and parts distributor for Volkswagen and Audi, has purchased a set of supply chain solutions from IBS, including inventory & warehouse management, accounting, and finance functionality for automotive parts in multiple facilities, including core handling. "We selected IBS after an exhaustive search. IBS' ability to handle our specific requirements for the automotive industry and their international network of offices were key decisions for selecting them as we grow over the years to come", commented Larry Laudenslager, General Information Technology Manager, Interamericana Transport Industries Inc. “IBS is proud to partner with ITI. ITI is the designated Volkswagen (VW) importer in Latin America for both automobiles and spare parts. Currently, ITI services over 25 Caribbean, Central American and South American countries. As the designated importer, ITI is responsible for providing Volkswagen automobiles, trucks, spare parts, accessories, tools, service support, warranty support and marketing support to its dealer network (sales and after-sales support). Additionally, ITI has the contract to provide Audi automobiles to Ecuador and Audi spare parts and tools to a number of Audi dealers. ITI provides these services through support staffs and distribution centers located in Miami, Ecuador and Colombia.
