The President of IBS, Magnus Wastenson, will leave his position in conjunction with IBS’s Annual General Meeting on May 9, 2006. The planned change of president will take place with the introduction of an accelerated action plan for advancing the company’s international positions.

In consultation with the President of IBS, Magnus Wastenson, the Board of Directors of IBS has decided to begin the recruitment process for a new president of IBS. Magnus Wastenson will leave IBS after the Annual General Meeting on May 9, 2006. “During the autumn, the management and Board of Directors of IBS formulated an action plan to accelerate IBS’s specialization towards selected industries in order to further increase the company’s competitiveness and profitability. We have jointly concluded that the time for a change of president has been well chosen for IBS to enter into the next development phase based on greater internationalization and industry specialization,” says Lars Nyberg, Chairman of IBS. “We carried out a number of important measures during the year with the purpose of streamlining IBS, consolidating our position in selected industries and consequently increasing profitability. The sale of IBS Public Services generated a capital gain of more than half a billion kronor and provided us with a strong financial position and substantially increased scope for acquisitions and other aggressive actions. After more than 20 years of employment at IBS, it feels good to hand over now when the company is entering into a new phase,” says Magnus Wastenson, President of IBS. IBS introduced a new organization at the beginning of the year. The current Area organization has been replaced by a new industry and geographically based management in order to strengthen IBS’s position internationally within the prioritized market segments. However, the introduction of the new organization will not affect IBS segment reporting, which will continue to comprise four geographical regions. The forecast for full-year 2005 remains unchanged.
