Strong income improvement for ICA Sverige and Rimi Baltic but loss for ICA Norge during the first half year

? Net sales for the second quarter amounted to SEK 22,765 million (20,699), an increase of 10.0 percent. ? Excluding capital gains on property sales, operating income for the second quarter amounted to SEK 523 million (380), an increase of 37.6 percent. Including capital gains, operating income for the second quarter rose to SEK 660 million (595), an increase of 10.9 percent.

? Net income for the second quarter amounted to SEK 557 million (491), an increase of 13.4 percent.

? Net sales for the first half year amounted to SEK 44,064 million (39,490), an increase of 11.6 percent.

? Excluding capital gains on property sales, operating income for the first half year amounted to SEK 748 million (608), an increase of 23.0 percent. Including capital gains, operating income for the first half year decreased to SEK 919 million (941), or by 3.3 percent.

? Net income for the first half year amounted to SEK 748 million (832), a decrease of 10.1 percent.
