Increased sales and improved operating income in a strong fourth quarter

? Net sales during the fourth quarter amounted to SEK 22,139 million (17,631), an increase of 25.6 percent. Excluding Rimi Baltic, the Groups net sales were SEK 19,143 million, an increase of 8.6 percent.

? Operating income for the fourth quarter increased to SEK 762 million (358), or by 112.8 percent.

? Fourth-quarter net income from continuing operations amounted to SEK 598 million (459), an increase of 30.3 percent.

? Net sales during the year amounted to SEK 82,326 million (67,395), an increase of 22.2 percent. Excluding Rimi Baltic, the Groups net sales were SEK 71,590 million, an increase of 6.2 percent.

? Operating income for the year increased to SEK 2,602 million (2,297), or by 13.3 percent.

? Net income for the year from continuing operations amounted to SEK 2,166 million (2,034), an increase of 6.5 percent.
