ICA Appoints New Executive Vice President

Anders Nyberg has been appointed as Executive Vice President Retail, for the ICA Group. He most recently served as Executive Vice President, Head of Retail Trade Development, at Axfood.
- Anders Nyberg is a strong addition to ICAs executive board. He has a solid background in retail, and his extensive experience with strategic business development is an important contribution to our work in continuing to strengthen our store concept in the Nordic countries, says Kenneth Bengtsson, President and CEO, ICA AB.
As Executive Vice President Retail, Anders Nyberg will be responsible for areas such as store, format, and concept development for the ICA Group in the Nordic countries.
Between 1992 and 2000 Anders Nyberg worked at ICA in a variety of positions, including Executive Vice President of ICA-handlarnas AB, Regional Manager, and Business Development Manager. Before joining ICA, he worked for Åhléns and the Esselte Group.
With the appointment of Anders Nyberg, ICA has filled its fourth Executive Vice President position. The three other positions are held by Karl Wistrand, Executive Vice President, Finance; Ingrid Jonasson Blank, Executive Vice President, Marketing; and Sven-Olof Kulldorff, Executive Vice President, Supply Chain.
The date when Anders Nyberg will start his new position will be decided later.
