ICA sells Alta Storsenter to Amfi Eiendom AS

ICA Eiendom Norge AS has sold Alta Storsenter (Komsa Eiendom AS) to Amfi Eiendom AS. The underlying real estate value amounts to NOK 273 million.

The agreement has been signed today and the buyer takes over the property on May 2, 2007. The sale will result in a capital gain for the ICA Group of approximately NOK 65 million, which will be accounted for during the second quarter of 2007.

"The sale of this property is in accordance with our strategy not to own shopping centers or residential buildings", says Rolf Hansteen, Managing Director of ICA Eiendom AS.

Olav Thon Gruppen, listed on the Oslo stock exchange, is the main owner of Amfi Eiendom AS.
