ICA sells real estate property to Klaveness Eiendom AS Oslo 1 February, 2007

ICA Eiendom AS has sold Sjølyst Arken to Klaveness Eiendom AS for NOK 330 million.

The property, that is located in Sjølyst west of Oslo, contains an ICA Maxi store as well as offices. More offices are to be built in the property. The buyer takes over the property on the 1st of February 2007.

"The sale of Sjølyst Arken is in accordance with our strategy of selling fully developed properties in order to free up capital, which we then invest in the development of new stores and shopping malls", says Rolf Hansteen, Managing Director of ICA Eiendom AS.

The agreement will positively affect ICAs operating result by approximately NOK 90 million during 2007.
