Preliminary figures put June 2007 combined sales for ICA retailers in Sweden at SEK 7,104 million, excluding VAT, up SEK 284 million or 4.2 percent compared to the same month last year. The increase for comparable units was 2.9 percent.
Since the beginning of the year, sales excluding VAT have risen by 5.6 percent to SEK 38,941 million. For comparable units, the increase for the same period was 4.3 percent.
Breakdown of June sales for ICA stores in Sweden:
Maxi ICA Stormarknad stores reported an increase in sales of 11.1 percent to SEK 1,675 million. The increase for comparable units was 2.9 percent. Accumulated sales have increased by 10.6 percent to SEK 8,918 million, whilst comparable units have increased by 2.5 percent.
ICA Kvantum stores reported an increase in sales of 1.3 percent to SEK 1,857 million. The increase for comparable units was 1.8 percent. Accumulated sales have increased by 3.8 percent to SEK 10,343 million, whilst comparable units have increased by 4.0 percent.
ICA Supermarket stores reported an increase in sales of 2.1 percent to SEK 2,435 million. The increase for comparable units was 3.4 percent. Accumulated sales have increased by 4.1 percent to SEK 13,556 million, whilst comparable units have increased by 5.2 percent.
ICA Nära stores reported an increase in sales of 3.8 percent to SEK 1,137 million. The increase for comparable units was 3.7 percent. Accumulated sales have increased by 4.9 percent to SEK 6,124 million, whilst comparable units have increased by 5.3 percent.
