Preliminary figures put October combined sales for ICA retailers in Sweden at SEK 7,210 million, excluding VAT, up SEK 633 million or 9.6 percent compared to the same month last year. The increase for comparable units was 7.8 percent.
Since the beginning of the year, sales excluding VAT have risen by 7.5 percent to SEK 71,116 million. For comparable units, the increase for the same period was 6.0 percent.
Breakdown of October sales for ICA stores in Sweden:
Maxi ICA Stormarknad stores reported an increase in sales of 19.8 percent to SEK 1,930 million. The increase for comparable units was 11.3 percent. Accumulated sales have increased by 14.6 percent to SEK 18,286 million, whilst comparable units have increased by 6.5 percent.
ICA Kvantum stores reported an increase in sales of 7.0 percent to SEK 1,784 million. The increase for comparable units was 7.5 percent. Accumulated sales have increased by 4.6 percent to SEK 17,566 million, whilst comparable units have increased by 5.3 percent.
ICA Supermarket stores reported an increase in sales of 5.8 percent to SEK 2,396 million. The increase for comparable units was 6.2 percent. Accumulated sales have increased by 5.1 percent to SEK 23,947 million, whilst comparable units have increased by 5.9 percent.
ICA Nära stores reported an increase in sales of 6.4 percent to SEK 1,100 million. The increase for comparable units was 6.9 percent. Accumulated sales have increased by 6.5 percent to SEK 11,318 million, whilst comparable units have increased by 6.6 percent.
