Year-end Report ICA AB for the period January 1 – December 31, 2005

Continued earnings improvement in the fourth quarter

? Net sales in 2005 amounted to SEK 71,663 million (73,334) a decrease of 2.3%. For comparable operations net sales rose by 3.8%. (Sales for 2004 are adjusted for ICA Baltic and the divested Danish operations.) ? Operating income in 2005 amounted to SEK 1,958 million (1,977), and income after tax was SEK 1,523 million (1,516). ? Net sales for the fourth quarter amounted to SEK 19,281 million (19,472), a decrease of 1.0%. For comparable operations net sales increased by 4.1%. ? Operating income for the fourth quarter amounted to SEK 617 million (356), an increase of 73.3%.
