iCandy, the luxury British pushchair brand, hosted a glamorous evening party for 300 guests, VIPs and friends of the brand, to celebrate 80 years within the design and nursery sectors at the iconic central London venue, One Marylebone.

Guests, including VIP mothers Emilia Fox, Jodie Kidd, Jasmine Guinness, Donna Air, Grace Woodward (soon to be) and Imogen Thomas flocked to the central London venue and were wowed by the incredibly visual catwalk, complete with a grass runway, trees and a variety of nature inspired displays, rivalling any upcoming London Fashion Week catwalks.

On arrival, guests enjoyed a Moet & Chandon Champagne reception, in which Donna Air was the first to arrive, showing her support for the Best of British, swiftly followed by a host of London’s most glamorous ‘yummy mummies.’

Opened by a stunning set from Whinnie Williams – who wore a yellow, print Moschino playsuit – the show was kicked off by a host of heart-felt speeches from both The Lullaby Trust, who announced their official partnership with the brand, and iCandy Managing Director, Martin Boyle, who welcomed guests to their 80th Anniversary Celebrations.

The fashion show element of the evening saw an eclectic mix of models in white, off-setting the vibrant colours of iCandy’s beautiful 2014 collections. The evening also saw a sneak-preview of the brands debut luxury bag collection – designed by ex-Mulberry designer Janet Collin, highlighting iCandy’s commitment and understanding of the fashion conscious, modern day parent.

Actress and mother-of-one Emilia Fox was seen seated on the front row, alongside designer Jasmine Guinness, recently returned model Jodie Kidd, stylist to the stars Grace Woodward (who was only a week away from her due date and was ready to pop) and mother-of-one Imogen Thomas – who had the best seats in the house and were wowed by the catwalk and collections.

The finale of the show saw the global reveal of iCandy’s latest in design, innovation and style “The Raspberry” – set to be the new iconic pushchair which put the crowd into a social media frenzy with the entire audience immediately pulling out their phones to capture the occasion.

Adding to the birthday celebrations, guests enjoyed sumptuous cupcakes created by Royal Wedding cake maker Fiona Cairns, who also created a bespoke birthday cake for iCandy’s 80th anniversary party.

The evening saw a generous cheque donation of £5,000 from iCandy to The Lullaby Trust, celebrating this with an on-stage cheque presentation, formerly presented by Creative Director Warren Appel to The Lullaby Trust’s CEO, Francine Bates.

Providing specialist support for bereaved families and anyone affected by the sudden death of an infant, The Lullaby Trust also helps to educate parents on how best to keep their babies safe during sleep.

Warren and Bradley said: ‘We are so excited to celebrate this significant milestone through our London birthday party, and we are greatly looking forward to what the next few years will entail for iCandy. With the launch of our new 2014 collections and showcase of our first ever bag range; we have lots to celebrate this September.’
