LOS ANGELES, September 8, 2010 – ICDC College Huntington Park campus has been recognized by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) as a “School of Distinction” for 2009-2010. This is the second time Huntington Park was recognized by ACCSC as a School of Distinction, having earned this award in 2005 as well.  This year, ICDC College’s Los Angeles Campus also received a “School of Distinction” award which places the college in the rare category of schools who have received such an honor for all four campuses.

The ACCSC School of Distinction award is intended to recognize ACCSC-accredited institutions who have “demonstrated a commitment to the expectations and rigors of accreditation and delivering quality educational programs.” For more than 40 years, ACCSC has been at the forefront of establishing and advancing quality education at private, postsecondary career schools and colleges. ACCSC is recognized as a private non-profit, independent accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education.

Yana Treystman, Huntington Park Campus President, will receive the award on behalf of ICDC College at ACCSC’s Professional Development Conference to be held on September 29, 2010 in Philadelphia, PA.

After receiving notification by letter from the ACCSC that her campus was to receive the 2009-2010 School of Distinction award, Ms. Treystman stated, “This honor truly reflects ICDC College’s continual dedication in ensuring that we continually work to exceed all compliance standards and operate in good faith and integrity throughout all levels of our organization, including our staff members, Admissions, Student Services, Financial Aid, Job Placement and Faculty.”

ICDC College’s Huntington Park campus services a number of residents from surrounding cities including Bell, Los Angeles, Commerce, South Gate, Vernon, Maywood, Lynwood and Cudahy.  Ms. Treystman adds, “It’s important for our students and the general public to understand the significance of this outstanding award. At the Huntington Park campus, we work hard in helping our students understand that their educational and career goals are of utmost importance to us and their success is our goal.”
