LOS ANGELES, August 27, 2010 – ICDC College Los Angeles campus has been recognized as a “2009-2010 School of Distinction” by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). This year, ICDC College’s Huntington Park Campus also received a “School of Distinction” award which places the college in the rare category of schools who have received such an award for all four campuses.

The ACCSC School of Distinction award that ICDC College received is intended to recognize ACCSC-accredited institutions who have “demonstrated a commitment to the expectations and rigors of accreditation and delivering quality educational programs.” For more than 40 years, ACCSC has been at the forefront of establishing and advancing quality education at private, postsecondary career schools and colleges. ACCSC is recognized as a private non-profit, independent accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education.

Marina Frid, Los Angeles Campus President, will receive the “School of Distinction” award on behalf of ICDC College at ACCSC’s Professional Development Conference to be held on September 29, 2010 in Philadelphia, PA.

Ms. Frid was elated when she was notified by letter from the ACCSC that the ICDC College Los Angeles campus was to receive the 2009-2010 School of Distinction award.  “I’m extremely honored to receive this special recognition from the ACCSC. This award reflects ICDC College’s commitment to delivering quality education and ensuring excellence in all of our policies, procedures and practices throughout all of our campuses,” Ms. Frid said.

Los Angeles is ICDC College’s main campus location. Ms. Frid added, “At our Los Angeles campus specifically, our entire staff and faculty recognize the importance of fully servicing our students at every level – whether they are being taught in the classroom, interacting with student services, financial aid or the job development team. Each student is important to us and we work very hard to ensure their success during their time with us and as we prepare them for future employment opportunities.”

A contributing factor to the success of ICDC College’s Los Angeles campus was that during ACCSC’s Accreditation School Review, the students were surveyed, and the results of the survey was a “100% student satisfaction”, based upon their education, the staff and the services they were receiving.
