Record full house at ‘Fleet 2020’ ICFM Conference
21 October 2015 – Williams Conference Centre, Grove, Oxfordshire
A record capacity of 197 delegates turned up at the 23rd Institute of Car Fleet Management (ICFM) Conference at the Williams Conference Centre, Grove, Oxfordshire to hear guest speakers, Sally Gunnell OBE, former British track and field athlete who won a Gold medal in the 400m hurdles at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, and Charley Boorman, TV presenter, travel writer and actor, provide motivational and illuminating talks. In addition attendees gained valuable insight into what fleet may look like in five years from six experts on the ‘in-dialogue ‘Fleet 2020’ panel session.
Chairman of the ICFM, Paul Hollick commented: “It was excellent to see a packed out conference centre. We had a record number of members attending as well as other leading lights of our industry. The post event feedback from the attendees was overwhelmingly positive and delegates went away pumped up by what they had learned from each of the entertaining sessions. Motivated by Sally Gunnell OBE; in awe of the breadth of development projects at Williams Advanced Engineering; informed by the thought-provoking in-dialogue session; entertained by Charley Boorman and proud to recognise the achievements of our 2015 awardees.
“Our thanks go to our famous guest speakers, Sally Gunnell and Charley Boorman, to Paul McNamara, technical director at Williams Advanced Engineering and the panellists on our in-dialogue session ‘The Landscape Today – Fleet 2020’.
