EARLY CHRISTMAS PRESENT FROM MEDICX PHARMACY FOR TALENTED YOUNG ROTHERHAM ARTIST
CHRISTMAS has come early for eight-year-old Ethan Marsden who was the winner of the MedicX Pharmacy Rotherham colouring competition.
Ethan, from Maltby, was among lots of young hopefuls to showcase their creativity and has won a voucher worth £50 to spend at Toys ‘R’ Us.
Staff at MedicX Pharmacy Rotherham, which will be open on Christmas Day and throughout the festive holidays, said Ethan’s colouring-in picture had won special praise.
Pharmacy Manager Stewart Kelly said: “We had a great response to the competition and were very impressed with everyone’s efforts.
“Many thanks to all took part and special congratulations to Ethan. As a pharmacy practice we are now in one of our busiest times of the year and it was delightful to meet Ethan and present him with his Toys ‘R’ Us vouchers.”
MedicX Pharmacy Rotherham is located on Greasbrough Road. It is open throughout the festive holidays including Christmas Day (4pm-10pm), Boxing Day (7.30am-10pm) and New Year’s Day (12pm-10pm).
On all other days, MedicX Pharmacy Rotherham is open daily until 10pm including weekends and bank holidays.

MedicX Pharmacy started in 2008 under the leadership of Chief Executive Steve Jeffers and Operations Director Gavin Birchall.
Steve and Gavin have both worked extensively within the pharmaceutical sector at all levels from owning and managing pharmacy practices to spearheading national pharmaceutical research, working with the NHS and Primary Care Trusts as well as working with specialist health centre developers.
• MedicX Pharmacy practices provide a wide variety of innovative and integrated pharmacy services. Many practices operate 100-hour working licences to provide late night opening hours throughout the week as well as on Bank Holidays including Christmas Day and Easter Sunday.
MedicX Pharmacy works with NHS commissioners to provide a range of commissioned health care services including Medicine Use Reviews, Minor Ailment Services, Smoking Cessation Services, Weight Management Services, Specialist Dispensing Services and Influenza Vaccination Services.
