HIGH PRAISE FOR YORKSHIRE COPPER TUBE PRODUCTS

KME Yorkshire’s most recent survey of more than 10,000 plumbers and contractors has revealed that a massive 94 per cent of respondents would be willing to recommend its Yorkshire Copper Tube products.

The survey is the second to be carried out by the copper tubing giant as it strives to further improve the way it communicates with customers on every level.

Other results showed that the vast majority of plumbers and contractors rely on trade publications for product and industry news and more than a third of people would like more regular email updates from manufacturers.

Management will use the results to continue to effectively engage with current customers and bring in new business by targeting potential clients with information and updates in the most efficient ways.

Neil Overton, Commercial Director at KME Yorkshire Ltd, said: “It was fantastic to know that nine out of ten people would be willing to recommend our products and it is testament to the fact that we use advanced manufacturing methods and sophisticated quality control techniques to ensure that only consistently high standard tubes are supplied.

“Since our first survey in 2011 we have ramped up our publicity to ensure we are seen in all the right trade press, introduced monthly bite size e-shots and given our increasingly popular Tube Talk newsletter a digital and online makeover.

“We have also launched a facebook page and created a twitter profile and have started a country wide tour of key trade exhibitions.

“Feedback to date has been extremely positive and we will use the results of this survey to ensure we continue to build on our success.

“I would like to personally thank everyone that took part for their very valued opinions.”

KME Yorkshire is a member of the KME Group of companies, which together represent Europe’s largest producer of copper and copper alloy materials.

All Yorkshire’s copper tubes carry the British Kitemark and the company’s Quality Management System is BS EN 9001 approved.
