MEDICX PHARMACY OPENS AT HERTS & ESSEX COMMUNITY HOSPITAL
THE very first on-site pharmacy at Herts & Essex Community Hospital in Bishop Stortford has opened.
MedicX Pharmacy Bishop Stortford is now located at the community hospital site to complement the wide range of patient services and two GP surgeries.
The new pharmacy practice, located next to Car Park B, has already received excellent feedback from patients for its on-site convenience, stylish interior design and patient-focussed approach.
Award-winning MedicX Pharmacy operates a total of 12 pharmacy practices throughout the country including practices in the South East, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Yorkshire.
Largely situated within newly-built GP health centres, MedicX Pharmacy has an excellent reputation among healthcare professionals and patient communities.
MedicX Pharmacy Manager Vishal Mehta said: “We are delighted to be the very first pharmacy to be located at the Herts & Essex Community Hospital.

As well as traditional dispensing services and a community delivery service, the pharmacy practice will be shortly introducing advisory, testing and screening services such as blood pressure and cholesterol checks.
MedicX Pharmacy Bishop Stortford is open from 9am until 6pm from Monday to Friday, and from 9am until 1pm on Saturdays.
An official opening ceremony of MedicX Pharmacy Bishop Stortford is due to take place later this year.

Steve and Gavin have both worked extensively within the pharmaceutical sector at all levels from owning and managing pharmacy practices to spearheading national pharmaceutical research, working with the NHS and Primary Care Trusts as well as working with specialist health centre developers.
