MEDICX PHARMACY WESTBURY CELEBRATES OPENING AT NEW WHITE HORSE HEALTH CENTRE
MEDICX Pharmacy is celebrating the opening of its first pharmacy practice in the South West at the new White Horse Health Centre in Westbury.
MedicX Pharmacy Westbury is providing late night opening hours and seamless pharmaceutical care including a free prescription collection and delivery service which is available to everyone in the local area.
Open until 10pm every day including weekends and bank holidays, MedicX Pharmacy Westbury’s patient-focussed approach and stylish interior design enables prescriptions, advice and information to be provided discreetly to patients.
As well as traditional dispensing services, the pharmacy will be providing free advisory, testing and screening services such as blood pressure checks, lifestyle assessments as well as medicine use reviews, advice and support.
Pharmacy Practice Manager Jonathan Wood, who is among 12 team members employed at the new pharmacy, said they would be working closely with health professionals from the White Horse Health Centre to meet the needs of local people.
Jonathan explained: “MedicX Pharmacy is delighted to be part of the new facilities at the new White Horse Health Centre.
“Patients are at the centre of everything we do and we have a pharmacist on site 365 days a year until 10pm as well as a team of professionally qualified dispensers and healthcare assistants to ensure patients can access the best quality pharmaceutical care available.
“The pharmacy is centrally located within the new purpose built facilities and we look forward to welcoming patients to help them get the most out of our services and expertise including the free prescription collection and delivery service.”
Facilities at the pharmacy include three consultation rooms, a large reception desk and a semi-private pick up point for prescriptions where advice can be provided to patients discreetly.
Award-winning MedicX Pharmacy operates a total of 16 pharmacy practices throughout England including practices in Greater London and the South East as well as Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire and Yorkshire.
