YORKSHIRE COPPER TUBE NEEDS YOU!

Yorkshire Copper Tube is asking plumbers and contractors to have their say on two products that the company is looking to introduce to the UK market.

It is holding a series of focus groups in the first quarter of 2012 and participants will be asked for their feedback on Q-Tec®, a reduced thickness copper plumbing tube with polyethylene covering and HYPOPLAN®, a KME concealed wall heating system.

Both were shown at the 2011 Renewables Roadshows and PHEX exhibitions in Manchester and Chelsea and received a very positive response from visitors.

Neil Overton, Commercial Director at Yorkshire Copper Tube, explains: “We had a lot of interest in our products from people visiting the various exhibitions we attended in 2011.

“Architects and specifiers were most interested in HYPOPLAN®, with the general consensus being that there is a real need for it in the current marketplace.

“Many of them saw the potential for using it in swimming pools, bathrooms, wet rooms, schools, offices and for remedial work in listed or heritage buildings.

“Plumbers and installers were very impressed with Q-Tec®, which they immediately recognised as a quality product that addresses their everyday needs.

“The focus groups are the next stage of our strategy for potentially bringing these two products to the UK market in 2012.”

All expenses will be paid to anyone attending any of the focus groups, which will be either morning or afternoon sessions.
