Ideal World get's a Winter Hill boost

Ideal World has seen a significant increase in sales from new regional shoppers since the Granada TV switchover with its biggest revenue week of the year. The Winter Hill switch over for Granada TV covering Lancashire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and North Staffordshire started on the 4th November and will be completed on the 2nd December. Mike Hancox, Ideal World CEO, has said, “We continue to invest in our Freeview offering by creating new specialist channels for our customers to enjoy. We look forward to the end of 2010 when Freeview will be available to over 98% of the UK households.” Ideal World is extending its newest Freeview addition, Create and Craft on Freeview channel 36 by broadcasting live shows on the weekends giving customers an additional 10 hours of live crafting over the weekend.
