Core Drilling at the Gold Project Solvik Enters Next Phase

Archelon Mineral AB and IGE Nordic AB, who own 50% each of the exploration licences of the Solvik property, are planning a second phase of drilling based upon the success of the first phase. A 1,000 metre drill program is scheduled to start in April 2008. This follows on the heels of the first phase, a 737 metre drill program in 2007. The results from that first program confirmed that gold, copper and silver mineralization previously found only in boulders does occur in bedrock on the property. One significant result returned a gold value of 3.9 g/tonne over 5.8 metres.

The objective of the phase two 2008 program is to extend the known limits of mineralization, which from other surveys should be widespread. IGE Nordic is the operator. The results from the new drill program should be available in the fall of 2008.

Within the Vänern-Mjösa Goldbelt, there has been a large number of small gold and base metal mines discovered. These previous mines and showings occur in association with local quartz veins. The Solvik mineralization, has been discovered in a southern extension of this Goldbelt. The area has seen little previous work and it is a positive sign that the very first phase of drilling found significant gold mineralization.

The drill program for the Solvik Gold Project will be the responsibility of Benny Mattsson, Chief Geologist of IGE Nordic. Benny Mattsson is registered as a Qualified Person (QP) with SveMin (Swedish Association of Mines, Mineral and Metal Producers).
