iioote and Rambo AB Develop Smart IoT solution for Recycling Stations

iioote AB and Rambo AB (a regional waste management company in the province of Bohuslän, Sweden) develops a smart solution to ensure a safe working environment for visitors and staff.
To ensure a good and safe visiting and working environment at the Rambo Lönndal recycling station, a smart IoT solution has been developed that will count cars entering and leaving the station. A traffic light will control and guide the cars before entry. The information will soon be available on Rambo's website/App where visitors can see the current load and later historical data will help their visitors to plan their visit.

This solution is put into operation in combination with our previously taken measures due to Corona virus (Covid-19) where we limit the number of concurrent visitors at the recycling station. The first recycling stations with counting of visitors are Lönndal and Hogenäs and more recycling stations are on the way.
