iioote expand their IoT-team and recruits an IT & Telecommunication executive veteran
iioote has recruited Jonas Högström as responsible for the Stockholm establishment. Jonas strengthens the team with his solid sales experience and technical knowledge obtained through many years of work in service companies in the IT, Telecom and Energy sector. Jonas holds a master's degree from Chalmers University of Technology.
iioote contributes to Sweden's goal of being the best in the world using the possibilities of digitalization. In order to contribute and make this task feasible, iioote has strengthened the team with another experienced IoT enthusiastic engineer with solid experience from the introduction of new technologies in the IT and Telecommunications sector.
Jonas has worked for over 20 years in the IT and Telecom industry in leading positions within international companies such as Ericsson, IBM, Telia and Deutsche Telekom. In recent years, he has also worked in the sales and advisory roles to support the development of smaller companies, in the field of sensors / data collection, control and optimization of energy solutions. Jonas has also, through his strong analytical ability, helped many customers choose the right technology solution in relation to cost in order to maximize the utilization of new technology in an optimal way.
Robert Spertina CEO at iioote says “After many years of international collaboration with Jonas I am absolutely sure that Jonas's experiences from executive positions gives us a solid opportunity for iioote to expand the business in the Stockholm region. It is an important market area with great need for digitalization. Jonas will add many important competencies based on a variety of experiences from both the IT / telecom and energy sectors”.
“Sweden and the Nordic countries are at the forefront in the area of intelligent cities. The IoT solutions that iioote have in place contribute to this development and provide great community and customer benefits with potentially large cost and environmental savings. Especially the possibilities for optimized and reduced energy utilization using the right sensors and monitoring systems, make ventilation and temperature optimally regulated in properties. Sensors for moisture measurement provide early indication of harmful levels, which contributes to a better indoor environment and minimizes potentially major repair costs. Distribution of electricity and local transport can be optimized through smart sensors and monitoring systems, which contributes to a more sustainable society.
It will be very exciting to be part of this journey together with iioote and get smart solutions on a larger scale to the market as LoRa is now an established radio technology in many places in Sweden and is growing every day” says Jonas Högström.
We at iioote wish Jonas a warm welcome to the team!
