HERE energy meets efficiency
Saxony-Anhalt presents itself as a system provider for intelligent energy and resource management
Magdeburg/Munich. The energy industry from the German federal state of Saxony-Anhalt is presenting itself this year with 11 exhibitors and a host of convincing product innovations at the most important solar industry trade fair, the Intersolar in Munich. Industry leaders will be meeting here from 10 to 12 June in order to present their innovative technologies and products to the photovoltaic market of the future.
Solutions for intelligent energy and resource management will be presented at the joint stand from Saxony-Anhalt. European and worldwide climate protection requirements and sustainable handling of scarce resources pose new challenges for the industry. In the future, renewable energy production and industrial production processes will proceed in a more marketable and flexible manner in order to be able to be established in a resource-efficient and innovative manner.
Saxony-Anhalt is considered a leading German federal state in the utilisation of renewable energies and scores points with an existing technological advantage with renewable energy systems. Local companies and research institutions constitute a competence centre with regard to generation, integration, storage and efficient utilisation. Accompanied by the development of renewable energies, intelligent solutions for energy-optimised processes will be developed. Trendsetting models will be created through the systematic networking of production companies and service providers in order to jointly conquer the “Industry 4.0”.
The company “f | solar GmbH” is once again presenting itself under the auspices of the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt as the world’s first solar glass manufacturer at the Intersolar Europe 2015. The company that has already made a name for itself internationally as a manufacturer of extremely thin solar glass offers heat-strengthened glass only two millimetres thick as a regulated building product. With its glass products, which f | solar will present at the trade fair, the company from Osterweddingen is exploring new avenues in the field of solar construction.
Calyxo GmbH recently impressively proved the resource efficiency and material sustainability of its solar modules. The company tested its CX thin-film modules for use under extreme conditions in two material tests. A fire test proved the high degree of safety in case of fire and showed that the modules are also suitable for regions with high solar radiation, for instance. The modules also passed the fatigue test with salt water, without showing restrictions in performance, and therefore confirmed their suitability for use in coastal regions, for instance.
The Fraunhofer CSP, nominated for the Intersolar Award, is taking part in the solar industry trade fair in Munich for the fourth time. The institute for applied research with regard to silicon crystallisation, solar module technology and wafer-based solar production is regarded as a beacon of competence in the sphere of resource efficiency in Saxony-Anhalt. It develops new technologies and solutions for efficient, cost-effective and reliable solar modules, and deals with the development of new materials along the entire value-added chain.
In Hall A3.160, 11 exhibitors will utilise the IMG Saxony-Anhalt joint stand as a platform in order to present their locations, innovative products and competencies along the entire value-added chain of photovoltaics.
