immixTechnology Begins Accepting Orders on NETCENTS-2 Products Contract
New Air Force Contract Now Open for Business
immixTechnology, Inc. announced today that it is now accepting orders through the Network-Centric Solutions-2 (NETCENTS-2) NetCentric Products contract (number FA8732-13-D-0018). The announcement follows official notice from the United States Air Force (USAF) on January 3, 2014 that the contract is available for ordering. Information on products and pricing available through immixTechnology can be found at www.immixgroup.com/netcents2/.
NETCENTS-2 is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ), Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract vehicle with a $6.9B ceiling. It is a Mandatory Use contract for purchases or leases of in-scope netcentric technology products by USAF customers and may also be used by Department of Defense (DOD) customers, other Federal agencies, and contractors when specific conditions are met.
The contract provides these customers with access to technology products and related installation/implementation services covering such categories as networking equipment, servers/storage/peripherals/multimedia, software, identity management/biometric hardware and software, and desktop commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software not included on other enterprise licenses. Additional information on the NETCENTS-2 program can be found at http://www.netcents.af.mil/contracts/netcents-2/.
immixTechnology was selected by USAF in August of 2013 as one of 25 NETCENTS-2 prime contractors. immixTechnology is a wholly-owned subsidiary of immixGroup, Inc., which helps technology companies do business with the government. It is classified as a small business on the contract, which was awarded with a three-year base period (from November 6, 2013 to November 5, 2016) and three one-year option periods.
“We are pleased to announce that we are open for business on NETCENTS-2, which is our first DOD ID/IQ contract,” said Patrick Cruciani, Director of Programs for immixGroup. “NETCENTS-2 will be an important part of the Air Force’s acquisition strategy, and we look forward to supporting the program and helping our customers gain reliable access to the products they need while helping our clients grow their Air Force business.”
