FAST GROWING EPOS FIRM APPOINTS FIRST IRISH FRANCHISEE
Award-winning software company, Intelligent Point of Sale, has set up its first franchise operation as it seeks to expand its market share beyond the UK. Having seen its client base grow by 200% in 2014, the Scottish company has now signed up Ireland-based Hospitality-IT as its first franchisee.
Under the agreement, Hospitality IT will market the firm’s downloadable app, intelligentpos® under the banner, Intelligent Point of Sale Ireland. Designed to operate through portable iPads specifically for bars, hotels and retailers, intelligentpos® will compliment Hospitality IT’s existing business offering suites of software and hardware to the hospitality and retail sectors from its offices in Belfast and Dublin, Ireland. Specifically, Hospitality IT under the experience and leadership of CEO, Rory Stuart provides the boots on the ground and the experience to provide practical support and training to local customers.
Robin Knox, co-founder and director of Intelligent Point of Sale, said:

Founded by 28 year old Robin Knox and Northern Irishman Paul Walton, 29, in 2012, Intelligent Point of Sale was the first to market an iPad based till system for UK retail and hospitality users. intelligentpos® software now competes alongside large American EPOS providers to assist businesses in the UK which recognise the need for modern and responsive tablet based systems.
Intelligent Point of Sale has already secured multiple national deals including arrangements with electronic cigarette retailers VIP which operates 90 outlets in the UK, Underbelly, the UKs largest festival operator and Canadian coffee giant, Second Cup.
