Induct – Chairman steps down, new candidate confirmed
Induct has been notified by its Chairman, Torkjell Nilsen, that he unfortunately has to step down from his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors in Induct with immediate effect due to his acceptance of an offer to become partner in FIRST Fondene AS, an asset management company, which prevents him from holding positions in listed companies due to compliance regulations. “It is with strong regrets I have to step down from the board of Induct in a time of several exciting opportunities for the company. I wish Induct all the best and will continue to follow the company’s accomplishments from a distance”, says Mr. Nilsen.
The Board will propose Vibeke Hammer Madsen, who has served on the Board of Induct since 4 May 2018, as its new Chairman at the upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting on 20 December 2018 (see separate stock exchange notice announced on 28 November 2018). “I am delighted to work at the Board of a company with such great prospects as Induct in terms of making a difference in the world through collaboration and knowledge sharing. I am determined to support Induct together with high competence staff in its quest to deliver value to both customers and shareholders”, says Vibeke Hammer Madsen.
“I would like to thank Torkjell Nilsen for an excellent cooperation and for his contribution to Induct, and I wish him all the best in his new job. I am confident that Vibeke Hammer Madsen will form a strong replacement for Mr. Nilsen and I am looking forward to cooperate even closer with her”, says Alf Martin Johansen, CEO of Induct.
