Swedish business mission to visit Indonesia

SWEDISH BUSINESS MISSION TO VISIT INDONESIA A Swedish Business Mission, headed by the Director General of Federation of Swedish Industries, Mr Per Olofsson, will visit Indonesia May 2 - 5. The mission, organized by the International Council of Swedish Industry, NIR (Näringslivets Internationella Råd), aims at establishing high level contacts with the new government of Indonesia as well as with key business leaders and business organizations. The overall objective is to explore new avenues for expansion of Indonesian - Swedish business. The delegation includes representatives from major Swedish companies with business interests in Indonesia, i.a. Ericsson, Volvo and Elof Hansson. Leading representatives from the Swedish Employers´Confederation and the International Council of Swedish Industry participate in the mission. The program for the visit includes meetings with President Wahid as well as with several members of the cabinet. The delegation will also meet with major business organizations such as KADIN. Meetings with Swedish subsidiaries and business men in Indonesia completes the agenda.
