Industrivärden acquires Ventim

Industrivärden acquires Ventim Industrivärden's subsidiary Indutrade has acquired Ventim, Ventil och Instrument AB in Kalmar, Sweden. Ventim markets industrial components, mainly process and flow technology, and represents a number of leading European manufacturers of control valves, flow measurement and automation. The acquired company's sales amounted to SEK 61 M in 1995, with good profitability. The acquisition is part of the development of a flow technology unit within Indutrade. Indutrade markets industrial components to Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Belgium and the Netherlands. Invoiced sales for 1995 totalled SEK 1,3 billion. The acquisition is conditional upon approval from the Swedish Competition Authority.
