Information Highway moves EGM and suggests change of split terms Due to the recent increase in the share price, Information Highway today withdrew the previous proposition for a 4:1 split and proposed a 8:1 split. The Extraordinary General Meeting has therefore been moved from 14th December to Monday 10th January, 2000. Information Highway's activities to strengthen its market position during the last two months has been positively received by the market with the share price increasing by more than 450 SEK. The Information Highway board now believes that the conditions for the 4:1 split proposal have changed sufficiently to warrant an alternative split ratio. The board's earlier proposal was based on an expected share price of 100 SEK following the share split, leading to an increased liquidity in the shares. This ambition remains, resulting in a proposal to change the split ratio to 8:1. "The new proposal will set the share price at the expected level following the split, which we believe will be well received by the market"said Information Highway's President Göran Wågström. The consequence of the new proposal is that the EGM on 14 December has been moved to Monday 10th January, 2000. The EGM will be published in the customary manner via an announcement in the Swedish Official Gazette, as well as in the Swedish daily broadsheet Svenska Dagbladet.
