INFRA - Infratek awarded contract with E.ON in Sweden

Infratek, with the business area Central Infrastructure, has been awarded a contract with E.ON Elnät regarding reconstruction of two substations in Klaverström and Lidboholm in Småland, Sweden.

The work covers the total rebuilding of two 50/10 kV substations, and includes demolition of existing buildings, construction of new control and switchgear buildings, control equipment for 50 kV and 10 kV systems, AC and DC power systems, and replacement of 50 kV and 10 kV switchgears.

The contract has a value of SEK 30 million.

The work will start immediately and will be completed by the end of 2013.

According to regulations the other tenders have the right to lodge complaints for 10 days. The contract cannot be signed prior to the expiration of this period and prior to the evaluation of any complaints.
