Innovation Entertainment Announces Release of SUPERCHARGED – The Remixes
Remixes for Billboard Charting Single, SUPERCHARGED, from Dance/Pop Artist Kwanza Jones, to be Distributed by Tommy Boy Entertainment
(January 23, 2013 – Los Angeles, CA) Innovation Entertainment, an independent music company based in Los Angeles, CA, announces the release of SUPERCHARGED – The Remixes by Kwanza Jones, after recently partnering with Tommy Boy Entertainment. This compilation will include remixes by Grammy-nominated producer Dave Audé, Billboard charting DJ Dan De Leon, internationally known Brazilian DJ Gustavo Scorpio, and Israeli artists Cliffhanger vs LightniX. SUPERCHARGED – The Remixes will be released by Innovation Entertainment as the first release in their partnership with Tommy Boy Entertainment.
Tommy Boy Entertainment was founded by Tom Silverman in 1981 as independent record label, Tommy Boy Records. After much growth, and wide recognition for its contribution to the development of the Hip Hop and Dance genres, the company was renamed Tommy Boy Entertainment in 2002. The company currently works with acts such as Bimbo Jones, Cielo, and Kristine W, and has also released soundtracks for the television series', The L Word and Queer As Folk, under their Silver Label imprint, co-founded by the now Vice President of Tommy Boy Entertainment, Rosie Lopez. SUPERCHARGED – The Remixes is set to deliver a diverse collection of dance remixes, including a featured remix from Cliffhanger vs. LightniX, the first prize winners of a remix contest hosted by Innovation Entertainment and Kwanza Jones on Talenthouse.com. All of the artists bring their signature style to this compilation with mixes ranging from House to Electro Pop. Dave Audé recalls, "I was immediately drawn to the unique and powerful vocal from Kwanza on "Supercharged," so I figured I could help make this single an even bigger club hit."
The release of this remix compilation is set for January 29, 2013 on Beatport.com with exclusive content and will be available at most other digital outlets, including iTunes, Amazon.com, and Google Play, on February 12, 2013. This release follows Kwanza achieving her third consecutive single on Billboard Magazine's "Dance/Club Play" song chart. Following her previous singles, “Think Again” and “Time To Go”; “SUPERCHARGED" was released in November 2012, which is currently being played nationally in clubs and on dance radio. Look for these songs and more on Kwanza's upcoming LP, SUPERCHARGED, due for release February 26, 2013.
