Student's Urged to Head to Student Money Saver for Better Ways to Generate Cash...

All those involved with the student offers and student discounts industry will have been smiling this week following the news that a student put her partner up for auction on online auction website eBay.  The cash strapped academic decided to offer her boyfriend for hire after she exhausted her overdraft in the run up to the festive season.

Beccy John, 21, was preparing to sell some of her possesions on eBay when she jokingly suggested that she’d have to sell her man to raise the cash needed for a fruitful Christmas period. The suggestion actually got those at UWE thinking and after she came across an article where someone out their Grandma up on the site, she decided to follow suit. She then submitted a post offering her Dave Church for hire for an evening dinner engagement.

Although the 21-year-old decided to post an ad to offer her boyfriend for hire online, she actually conveniently forgot to inform him. Mr Church has a sense of humour though and didn’t take offence to the sale.

The winning bidder will have their work cut out though as Dave doesn’t drive and will have to be picked up from his Wooton Bassett home.
