Insr: Extraordinary General Meeting Held

An extraordinary general meeting of Insr Insurance Group ASA was held today, October 5th, 2020.The company's entry into the agreement dated August 14th, 2020 for the sale of the substantial part of its insurance portfolio to Storebrand Forsikring AS was approved in accordance with the proposal from the board of directors. 

The shareholder's proposal for an independent investigation was not approved.

An error in the votes considered to have been present has been discovered. The error is too small to change the outcome on the transaction approval, but would have changed the outcome on the investigation. The company is considering how to handle this.
