Instalco is acquiring Grums Rör AB, a company that offers installation and service of heating, plumbing and ventilation systems. With this acquisition, Instalco also expands to a new geographic area in Värmland.

The company currently has 14 employees and sales of approximately SEK 32 million. It has customers in both the private and public sector, working with both new construction and renovation of, for example, bathrooms, heat pumps, boilers and sewage systems.

“This acquisition establishes us in a new geographic market. Grums Rör will be a natural collaboration partner for of our other Instalco companies in the region. It is also big in service, which is one of the priority growth areas for Instalco,” says Ulf Bergquist, Business Area Manager for Instalco West.

Grums Rör was founded in 1987. It is a smaller, family-owned company that works closely with its customers. It works with turn-key contracts, partnering and general contracting.

“We are looking forward being a part of the Instalco Group and the opportunities it will offer us to take our company to the next level. We also want to make a contribution with our knowledge and customer contacts,” says Niklas Thuresson, CEO of Grums Rör.

Instalco will acquire 100 percent of the shares in Grums Rör AB as of 8 July.
