Instalco acquires Rörtema i Nyköping
Instalco expands its heating & plumbing offering with the acquisition of Rörtema i Nyköping AB. The company primarily offers heating & plumbing installations in Södermanland, Östergötland and Stockholm.
Rörtema i Nyköping AB was founded in 2001 and currently has 30 employees. Sales for the 2017/2018 financial year were approximately SEK 45 million. Its many customers include SSAB, Scania, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Spendrups and Catena.
“The acquisition of Rörtema strengthens our offering south of Stockholm and we see excellent opportunities for collaboration with the other Instalco companies in Business Area West. Rörtema is a stable company that is an excellent fit with the Instalco model,” says Klas Larsson, Business Area Manager for Instalco West.
The company specializes in heating & plumbing installations along with other services, such as welding, forging and process pipework. The company is owned by its founder, Thomas Persson, who will remain in his current position as CEO of the company even after the acquisition.

Instalco will acquire 100 percent of the shares in Rörtema i Nyköping AB as of today, 5 July 2019.
