Instalco expands further in Östergötland

Instalco continues to grow in Östergötland with the acquisition of Boman El & Larmtjänst AB in Norrköping, which specialises in electrical installations and security systems.

For the 2019 financial year, sales were approximately SEK 73 million. Instalco has been serving the Östergötland region for some time, via its other subsidiaries that include VentPartner, Vallacom, MSI, APC and the newly acquired FTX, which is also located in Norrköping.

“The acquisition of Boman El gives us an even stronger position in electrical installations in the Östergötland region. It also brings us one step closer to becoming multidisciplinary in Norrköping. Boman El is a very reputable company in the region and it has healthy margins,” says Klas Larsson, Business Area Manager for Instalco West.

Boman El was established in 1998, with its main focus at the time on security systems. Now, however, its primary focus is on electrical installations, large contracts, and service. The company also offers a complete range of network and fibre installations. Examples of customers are LKAB, Vattenfall, Lulekraft, Ferruform, Gestamp, SMA Mineral, BDX, Lindab and Duroc rail, with projects at residential property, offices, industries and public facilities.

Instalco will acquire 100 percent of the shares in Boman El as of 20 August 2020.
