Instalco expands in Småland

Instalco is expanding in the counties of Småland and Kalmar via its acquisition of the group of Avent companies in Kalmar, which provide heating, ventilation and cooling solutions.

The Group, with its approximately 60 employees, consists of the following companies: Avent Drift & Innemiljö AB, Avent Installation AB and Avent K AB. For the 2018/2019 financial year, sales were approximately SEK 108 million.

“The acquisition of Avent strengthens our position and brings us one step closer to becoming multidisciplinary in the Kalmar and coastal Småland area. Avent is a well-run company with an excellent reputation in the region,” says Patrik Persson, Business Area Manager for Instalco South.

Avent works with installation, adjustment, energy optimisation and maintenance of heating, cooling and air treatment solutions. It also offers the associated technical administration of such systems. The company works with both construction contracts and service assignments. Its customers include property companies, county councils, municipalities, property owners, restaurants, stores, hotels and industrial companies.  The projects that it carries out are at various types of properties, including schools, residential property and commercial facilities.

“We’ve been continually growing since the end of the 1990s and we’ve now reached the point where we need a broader foundation. As part of the Instalco group, we’ll have more opportunities for collaboration with the other subsidiaries, along with new ways to expand and develop our business,” says Björn Helgesson, CEO of Avent.

Instalco will acquire 100 percent of the shares in Avent as of 3 April 2020.
