Instalco expands into Östersund

With the acquisition of the ventilation company, OVAB Optimal Ventilation AB, Instalco expands into Östersund and the market serving both Jämtland and Härjedalen.

Optimal Ventilation was founded in 2010 and the company has 12 employees. For the 2017/2018 financial year, its sales were approximately SEK 37 million.

“With the acquisition of Optimal Ventilation, Instalco expands the geographic scope of its offering into an entirely new region (Östersund and Åre, including Jämtland and Härjedalen), where it has not previously been represented. It's a stable company with many similarities to our other Instalco companies. We see many opportunities for synergy and cross-selling,” says Johan Larsson, Business Area Manager for Instalco North.

Optimal Ventilation works with customers of many sizes, on both major contracts and smaller service assignments. It offers ventilation installation, inspection and services. Its customers are primarily companies, but it also offers services to individuals.

The company is owned by Jämtvidden AB and its owners are Anders Hellström and Jimmy Eriksson. Both will remain with the company in their current positions even after the acquisition.

Instalco will acquire 100 percent of the shares in OVAB Optimal Ventilation AB as of 2 July 2019.
