Instalco strengthens its position in electricity & safety in Södermanland
Instalco is acquiring AB El & Säkerhet Sörmland in Katrineholm. The acquisition strengthens Instalco’s position for electrical installations in the county of Södermanland, Sweden.
El & Säkerhet was founded in 2006 and it primarily offers installation and service of electrical and telecommunication solutions, along with computer networks, alarm/lock/entry & exit systems. The company has around 80 employees and annual sales of approximately SEK 110 million.
“Södermanland and Mälardalen is an interesting market. This strategic acquisition enables us to strengthen our position in the area of electrical installations and safety/security solutions in this region of Sweden. It's a well-run company with stable operations and a great management team that will continue developing the company, now, as part of the Instalco Group,” says Klas Larsson, Business Area Manager for Instalco Väst.
El & Säkerhet focuses on serving the Mälardalen region and it has offices in Katrineholm, Nyköping and Flen. Its main customers are companies and organizations in the public sector, along with individual property owners. They include Peab, NCC and HMB.
El & Säkerhet is run by its owners, Lars Gunnar and Mats Källung, who will remain in their current roles after the acquisition.

Instalco will acquire 100 percent of the shares in AB El & Säkerhet Sörmland as of 4 April 2019.
