The interest among specialists and patients for the OPRA™ Implant System is steadily increasing. Integrum’s “Find a Center” campaign launched in March this year is much appreciated, facilitating for patients to find a hospital offering treatment with the OPRA™ Implant System.  We are starting to see the results from our work over many years; more and more hospitals and medical centers are joining the OPRA™ network.

The purpose of the “Find a Center” campaign was to address the challenge that, despite more than 30 years of research, development, and excellent clinical outcomes, many amputees and specialists around the world were still unaware of the advantages and availability of treatment with the OPRA™ Implant System. During the past 6 months, a further 9 leading hospitals and medical centers in the US have signed agreements with Integrum, and thereby joined the OPRA™ network. This brings the total number of hospitals and medical centers offering the treatment to 40 around the world. For further information, please see the map below, or refer to Find a Center on our website.

Maria Lopez, CEO at Integrum, had the following remark: “It is fantastic to see that the OPRA™ network is steadily growing, and that more and more patients and specialists around the world are becoming aware of the benefits of treatment with the OPRA™ Implant System”.

About Integrum

Integrum AB is a publicly-traded company (INTEG B: Nasdaq First North exchange) based outside of Gothenburg, Sweden, with a US subsidiary in San Francisco, CA. Since 1990, osseointegration, the science behind the OPRA™ Implant System, has been helping individuals with amputations enjoy a dramatically improved quality of life. Thorough surgical experience gained over more than three decades, from more than 500 surgeries, in 14 countries, has led to the development of Integrum’s system for bone-anchored prostheses – a vastly superior alternative to the traditionally used socket prosthesis.

In December 2020, Integrum successfully completed what may be considered the most stringent medical device regulatory procedure in the world, and based on the solid scientific data submitted, was granted a PMA by the FDA for the OPRA™ Implant System, which is the only technology approved for above-knee, bone-anchored prosthetics in the U.S. More information on the company and its innovative solutions for amputees can be found at www.integrum.se
