Oslo University Hospital has performed its first surgeries with Integrum’s OPRA[TM] Implant System

Mölndal, Sweden, April 5, 2022 – Integrum (publ) (Nasdaq First North Growth Market: INTEG B) today announced that Oslo University Hospital (Rikshospitalet) has performed its first surgeries with Integrum’s OPRA^TM Implant System. Two patients with above-knee amputations have had their stage one surgeries performed, meaning the fixture is now implanted into the bone.

The surgeries follow after the initiation of a bone-anchored prosthetics program that The Department of Orthopaedics at Rikshospitalet announced in July 2021. Within the program, Rikshospitalet will treat both transhumeral (above-elbow) and transfemoral (above-knee) amputees with Integrum’s OPRA^TM Implant System.

Professor Magne Røkkum is responsible for the program and performed together with colleagues and Professor Rickard Brånemark the first two surgeries.
