Cummins Engine Company continues to invest in integrated enterprise solutions from Intentia Intentia Australia signs major agreement for South Pacific operations The Australian subsidiary of Cummins Engine Company has selected the integrated Enterprise Application System Movex from Intentia. The agreement covers the implementation of Movex at Cummins' sites in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. The total order value, including implementation services, is over USD 3 million. The implementation of Movex will enable Cummins in the South Pacific Region to create an integrated enterprise wide solution with the aim of significantly improving the flow of information, managing the supply chain and increasing business efficiency. "We chose Movex because of its broad scope of functionality covering all our needs, including manufacturing, distribution, financial integration etc," said John Pallozzi, Technology Program Manager, Cummins Engine Company South Pacific. "Also, Movex will help us be more efficient in the way we communicate at all levels of the supply chain - both with our customers and suppliers, as well as internally." The implementation project will start in Australia and New Zealand. When complete, a total of some 1200 users in the region will work with Movex. Intentia has already implemented Movex in other parts of the Cummins Group. Today the system is installed in a number of countries throughout Europe and Asia.
