Integrated WAP technology adds further strength to Intentia's e-business offering Intentia's Enterprise Application Movex to offer customers WAP support Following on Intentia's recent launch of the Web Explorer thin client user interface, Intentia today unveils the next step in mobile enterprise application access. By using the WAP technology /Wireless Application Protocol) as defined by the WAP Forum, Movex customers can use any WAP-enabled device, such as handheld computers and mobile phones to access their ERP system. This further extends the reach of the enterprise application to sales- and service staff and will also enable field equipment like vending machines to manage themselves and place orders straight into the Movex system. The Intentia industry application Service and Rental will be one of the first to utilize the WAP support.
