Intentia wins USD 6 million masters agreement with global materials technology group Perstorp

Intentia wins USD 6 million masters agreement with global materials technology group Perstorp Global chemicals and materials technology group, Perstorp AB, with sales exceeding USD 1.3 billion, has signed a global group agreement with Intentia for the Movex Enterprise Application system. Movex will be implemented in the group's Flooring division in the US and throughout Europe and Asia. The order value for Intentia, including implementation services, is about USD 6 million. "The selection of Intentia and Movex is a strategic decision for us and decisive factors included the integrated process-flow we can achieve with Movex, together with Intentia's global approach," explains Peter Billquist, Vice President and CIO of Perstorp AB. The implementation project will start in the US, to continue at Perstorp Flooring's sites throughout Europe and Asia. When complete, a total of some 400 users will work with Movex. The Perstorp Group has annual sales of more than USD 1.3 billion, with 6000 employees. The Group is world leaders in applications areas of specialty chemicals and materials technology.
