USP Health Care AB chooses integrated e-commerce solution from Intentia USP Health Care AB has chosen Intentia's B2C e-commerce solution for selling its health products and natural remedies over the Internet. Intentia's e-commerce solution is based on Movex and manages all transactions, from the time the customer surfs to the Web site directly into USP's enterprise application for invoicing, payment and delivery. Intentia's solution is fully integrated and will be launched in less than two months. When USP's present business model for sales via the Internet is extended, the e-commerce solution from Intentia will also support business with professional customers- that is, business-to-business, transactions with institutions, etc. "Intentia's e-commerce solution will be the backbone of our investment for distributing our health products and natural remedies to the self-care market," Patrik Hellström, CEO of USP, explains. "Logistics is essential for our products, and all the links in the distribution chain must work." "I know from previous experiences that most system vendors can't offer a complete, integrated and flexible system in two months," says Krister Hanner, Chairman of the Board at USP Health Care, and founder of several leading e-commerce companies such as Boxman and wideyes.com. "Intentia was the only company that could guarantee on-time delivery of the right solution and fulfill our key requirements. We are truly looking forward to working together with Intentia in the future." "By using the flexibility Movex offers with its many different standard components- like Movex Web Shop 2.0- we can meet the extremely tough time and cost requirements that today's market demands," comments Markus Jakobson, CEO of Intentia Consulting Sverige. "Our market share for e- commerce solutions is growing rapidly and we see an increasing number of projects of this type." "The fact that USP has chosen Intentia's complete e-commerce system is yet more evidence of Intentia's excellent competitive position. The trend is clearly increasing towards companies turning to vendors that can provide standard solutions and have a thorough understanding of complex business processes," says Thomas Ahlerup, Director of Information, Intentia International. "We are experiencing the same trend in all our markets," he concludes.
