Blackpool International Airport update on travel dispruption

Following recent air space restrictions, Blackpool International remains open and operating but flights have been and may continue to be affected. Passengers due to fly to the Isle of Man/Belfast City with Manx2.com - these flights are planned to operate as scheduled. Passengers should attend the airport unless advised otherwise. For information on flight availability please visit Manx2.com's website or call 0871 200 0440. Passengers due to fly with Jet2.com - please note all flights have been confirmed as cancelled up to and including Wednesday 21st April. Please do not arrive at the airport but call the following numbers: If you have booked your flight with Jet2.com call: 0871 226 1737. If you have booked a Jet2holiday call: 0800 408 5597. If you have booked your Jet2.com flight or holiday through a travel agent contact them directly. Please note Jet2.com are receiving an extremely high volume of calls and therefore you will experience some difficulty getting through but please persevere. It is anticipated that Jet2.com's normal service from Blackpool International will resume from Thursday 22nd April - please visit Jet2.com's website for further details. Passengers due to fly to Dublin on Wednesday 21st April - Aer Lingus have confirmed operations as normal. Passengers should attend the airport unless otherwise advised. Passengers stranded overseas or concerned friends and relatives - the Foreign Office has a dedicated advice line, when calling from the UK the number is 020 7008 0000 and from overseas +44 207 008 000. The Foreign Office website for further advice is www.fco.gov.uk Blackpool International has received a number of enquiries from worried passengers who have utilised the 15 days free parking at the airport. Tickets will be validated with no charge made for additional days over the 15 day stay. Members of Blackpool International staff will be available in the Arrivals Hall as passengers return to validate tickets free of charge.
