EMMA ZOO…..MS TO THE TOP OF THE CLASS
Blackpool Zoo Keeper Emma Banks is flying high after scoring top marks at the end of the first year of her Advanced National Diploma in the Management of Zoo Animals. Emma, who is 26 and from Kirkham, scooped a whopping ten out of ten distinctions in all her Diploma Units, which included the Role of Zoological Collections, Principles of Animal Behaviour and Animal Nutrition. The three year course, which is funded by the zoo, will see Emma working full time and spending 12 month slots on each of the animal sections. She has just completed a year with the large mammals, where she was part of
