International Centre Begins 3.5 Million Dollar Renovation
Mississauga, Ontario, July 18, 2012 - The International Centre is pleased to announce details of its largest renewal plan. The exciting 3.5 million dollar renovation will dramatically enhance the one million square foot facility and incorporate sleek, modern design elements. The renovations will transform the main entrance to Hall 1 and introduce a new connection between Hall 3A/4A and Hall 5. The renewal plan further demonstrates the International Centre’s commitment to enhance client and visitor experiences, complimenting the over 450 events held annually.
With a stunning new design and the creation of a bright and modern lobby, Hall 1 entrance will provide clients and visitors with an unforgettable experience in quality and design. Sleek stone flooring, dramatic architectural features welcome guests to this modern, dynamic space. Slated for completion in late 2012, this new lobby area will provide versatility for a multitude of events, facilitating everything from a product showcase to an elaborate reception.
A new structure will be built to improve connectivity between Hall 5 and the balance of the facility. With the completion date of Summer 2013, this dynamic, multi-functional space will offer an inviting atmosphere and provide a seamless transition for shows and their attendees. Merging functionality, versatility and design, this space will have the flexibility to accommodate registration, receptions,booths and displays, and lounge areas for food and beverage.
