Intrum Justitia creates new region and appoints Regional Managing Director for Northern Europe

On August 1, 2010 Intrum Justitia’s organizational regions Scandinavia and Finland & Baltics will be merged to one region; Northern Europe. The new region will include: Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

The new region create synergies in Sales, Purchased Debt and IT and we will be able to serve Nordic clients in a better way. Starting from the third quarter 2010 reporting, the new region will be consolidated and presented as one region in the financial figures. Restated numbers will be provided. Rickard Westlund has been appointed Regional Managing Director for Northern Europe. Rickard Westlund joined Intrum Justitia as Managing Director for Intrum Justitia Sweden in November 2009 and assumed the position as Acting Regional Managing Director for region Scandinavia in January 2010. Rickard Westlund has previously held several positions at Lindorff and Aktiv Kapital. He has also 13 years of experience from Swedbank. Thomas Feodoroff, currently Regional Managing Director Finland & Baltics, as well as country manager for Finland, will continue to work for the Intrum Justitia Group focusing on building the Group Sales capability. Each country in the region Northern Europe will have a Managing Director. Tommi Sova has been appointed Managing Director for Finland. He currently holds the position as Regional Sales & Marketing Director in Finland & Baltics. A successor to Rickard Westlund, a new Managing Director for Sweden will be recruited. All other Managing Directors in the region will remain the same. Rickard Westlund and Tommi Sova will assume their new positions August 1, 2010.
